Richard et al, I don't know the geography of where you are in relation to BigRuss. He is apparently not so far away and most certainly would get it sorted in short order - and maybe not even need all the parts you've ordered. Surely it is worth getting in touch with him and also find out what it would cost to have your car taken to him. That may well be less expensive overall - transport and repair all calculated. And, everyone knows he knows these cars inside out.
Worth thinking about.

The story has moved on (even though the car can’t being stuck as it is where it is!) as my normal garage will replace the parts if they get a cancellation. I’ve got a hire car so it’s just a waiting game now. Maybe Russ is busy.
