Default Strange MOT Advisory.

Just been looking through some old MOT's for my 75 .
Date of test 21/7/20
Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories )
Engine cover fitted obscuring view.
Location of test
HI-Q Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury.
Anyone else had this ?

it is common. Also engine undertray and other covers for the same reason. MOT testers are not allowed to remove components.

Cheers Melwyn. First time I've seen this in probably 30 certificates of my 75's.

It's when you get one for having an uncouth object in the top water hose that you would need to worry!

Great reply Maninder. It's not in there yet. Heater is still warm enough. I'm getting about 48mpg average with 90% at 70mph ish. Can it wait for spring ? Or do I use the '' cheat " ??

That's reassuring, thanks. Could any serious repercussions be caused by waiting until weather and bank balance are a bit better. I think I'll probably wait . Don't want to offend anyone !
