Maybe there's something wrong with me, but I actually quite like the look of that, but for about half the price, especially when you compare what else you can get for that sort of money

The valves in the radio was a case of planning ahead during the cold war. The radio would work even following a nuclear strike and EMP release.

Very severe on the battery, especially with the rather inefficient dynamos
