Default Servicing within spitting distance of Stockport

Hi Everybody,

Potential ZT owner here. I'm a long time owner of MG Midgets but nowadays, getting in and out of the car is becoming a struggle so I'm looking for the "older Gentleman's" car. While I've always done my own servicing and repairs on the Midget, I've never had a 75/ZT before and I'm not inclined to learn now.

So if anyone could suggest where I could get a ZT serviced within an hour's drive from Stockport, I would be very greatful.
Thanks,
Malc

Horners at Swinton have service and MOT my 75 for a number of years. I've always found them reliable and never had an issue with their work, I've always found them fair, only doing work that's necessary and they've always discussed repairs with me prior to undertaking them. They also have a lot of experience working on the 75 / ZT models

I used to live in New Mills and have used George Pooles in the past.
https://www.georgepooleltd.co.uk/
In fact, they fitted a new clutch, slave etc to my ZTT six years ago and it’s been, and is still, as good as when it was a new car.
The owner, Paul Reynolds, is old school and I’ve known of him since I was a kid....he used to fly around New Mills in a modified Mini He is a well respected mechanic.

Only about 40mins from Stockport if you hit the lights on green up the A6

Is there anything that you don’t know about Brian!?

It was called Toffee Town back in the CB days, had a constant smell of Parma Violets, Love Hearts, Drum Sticks and Refreshers

It was the pigeon poo that gave Swizzels Matlow its unique flavourings
