Now You Can Paint Your Tyres!
I was looking for a suitable paint for painting a Rover 75 subframe and arms and in doing so I stumbled across this:
https://www.paints4trade.com/tyre-bl...t-259019-p.asp How about that?! Never seen stuff like that before, only tyre gels and sprays that don't last that long. Anyone fancy being a guinea pig and painting their tyres? |

Was very common back in the 70 & 80's, just about every used car lot had all their tyres painted

As said, it's been around a long time and not that good unless modern technology has improved it .

Definitely been around for a long time. I used to use it back in the '70s, and even today, it's readily available in Halfords.
I always keep a tin of Halfords tyre paint in the shed. Not for my tyres (much better products for that) but for refreshing the wheel arch liners every couple of years or so Cliff

Dodgy back street car sellers use it, it can cover cracks in the sidewalls and make some worn tyres look new to the gullable.
