Popped his clogs at age 88.--One of my favourite authors.---Read his books very often.

Great author. RIP.

I’m currently half way through ‘legacy of war’, one of his later assisted [by David Churchill] books.

Yeah epic. Slightly unfortunately I picked up 'Courtney's war' first at the library, so have been reading them out of sequence.
