Default "Club" Structure

OK I was thinking about this the other day, whilst i was thinking about stagnation of the site and how positive change for the good of the "club" would happen. How would a positive change occur within the "club". Some people will flame me and throw abuse at me as seems the norm these days but that will just prove my point so here goes:

- The banner at the top says its a "club", so how organised is it as a club?

- Is the direction driven by a committee of some sort?

- Is there a chairperson? president? treasurer? secretary?

- Is there annual or more regular general meeting of some sort deciding direction?

- How do changes happen currently?

These are genuine questions

The only problem I see with the club is people joining to start agendas and the underhand behaviour of said individuals.
Allied to those that will defend those 'members' honour and start shouting for their protection as they are being 'bullied' by the clique on here !

I think the OP will find that the majority of those who want to be here and share information/experience are not overly concerned about the legal structure underpinning this community. Like myself, they are concerned with the cars.

If you wish to find out more, PM Chritopher rather than starting another thread.

Couldn't agree more!
Same old same questions which should be directed at the club owner if the person so wishes

FFS I called this sort of reaction in the first post. What good is a forum if you cant start a thread?

Mainly as its been done to death many times before and has ended up with peeps being banned, others getting upset and general discord amongst the membership!

If you have these concerns, best to direct them at the management

Let the flaming begin, this wasn't predictable at all, was it too much to expect some well constructed answers and maybe some genuine debate.

Next the thread will be locked

Re FFS. Please do not confuse the community further by bringing 1.8k fuel issues into the debate.

I feel my response was reasoned and well constructed!
Air your grievances with those responsible rather than poking a hornets nest......Unless of course you've never seen the countless other threads along the same theme and what happened to them?

I'd say at this time of discontent it's not the right time to overload the moderators with these questions. There's enough going on and I'd personally hope to see the mods getting time to sort out outstanding issues first.
My opinion and hopefully respected.
