Default 2.0 V6 engine mounts

My 1999 75 2.0 V6 has a very worn lower rear engine mount. It's the mount that's more like a link.

Are these 'links' the same across the 75 four cyl and V6 engine ranges?

As I've found one for sale. The advert says it's from a 1800 petrol 75. But, it looks exactly the same as my poorly one.

Many members have indeed fitted 1.8 mounts to diesel and KV6 mounts and vice versa, all found them to be the same dimentions. seems to be one size fits all

The only thing that might have been different is the rubber compound in the mount and could vary for the various engines. However, that is probably academic now, and I would think there will be little difference if the 1.8 K4 part is fitted

Jack car up and secure, remove undertray, (12 philips head turnbuckles). remove small heatshield around mounting near exhaust. (1 x 10mm bolt and a plastic scrivet. Have a look ). If you have to change one its two bolts and a push me pull you act around the exhaust sensor on the rear bank. ( if its a KV6)

If you have no clunking when you set off or changing gear you don't have a problem

Yep! I can confirm that, you soon know if you have a worn mount.
