Default Quality of life things

Apropos of nothing, I have replaced the hydraulic bonnet and boot lifters.

Not expensive, not difficult (even for me!) and the difference is night & day! The (20+ year old) originals were so very tired. The boot couldn't make it all the way open, and the bonnet would open ok, then start making a slow descent back down meaning I was on a time limit...

If you haven't, I highly recommend renewing them.

Cheerio

Dale 🙂

My bonnet definitely needs doing. Where did you get your struts?

It's one of those things that makes a huge difference - it's lovely not having the bonnet 'creep' down while trying to reach something in the engine bay!

We do stock these, as do SGS Engineering (on the link above) and the usual XPart / MG Rover specialist suppliers.
