It's a good job I've got my slippers on as I'd have drop kicked it down the yard.

LOL A few of my desktop PC's have met a similar end over the years, I shot a vid of one of mine being chucked from a great height landing on the drive a few years ago, I'll see if I can find it. ........I've changed me meds since lol.

I gave one of my bothersome PC's a re-boot a while back.

That living room carpet now resides in the garage.

Delighted to read that I'm one of nine million around the UK who has this p0xy cold bug. I don't normally get colds, this one is a cracker, been getting progressively worse over the last three days. Ended having breakfast this morning then going back to bed, stiff and sore all over, weak, headache and now choked up with a barking cough.

That's a NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- Steve, I don't think it's far away here, the missus is sweating one minute cold the next, shes taken her cardy off, Very rare sight indeed & we've had the central heating on since 10am this morning

I've just had a hot bath because I feel lousy too.

I've had the painter in most of the day, sorting hall, stairs and landing. He's gone now (too dark to see what he's doing) so we've decided to go and do the weekend shopping. Went out to the garage to get the shopping boxes and put them in the car boot - jeesus - it is FREEZING out there. I've now got a T shirt, woolly shirt, indoor style fleece, and a thick, lined outdoor fleece on - feeling a tad warmer, but can hardly move my arms

On the subject of illness etc. - I have had my daily dose of statins doubled from 20mg to 40 mg. I was warned that I may get more side effects than before - I start taking them tomorrow

I can only take statins in "batches", take it for so long then stop for a while once the side effects build to a level I can no longer handle. Every statin the doc has tried me on has resulted in the same debilitating muscle and joint pain. He wanted me to try yet another (be the sixth one I've been on) but I refused and he reluctantly accepted the compromise, take it for as long as I can then have a break.
