2001 Conny SE CDTi Tourer (Auto) - Fully Loaded. £999 *WITHDRAWN FROM SALE*
Well I've lavished TLC on this excellent car, and as such it's time to move on to something else which needs my time a little more - my ZS diesel. As such I'm putting the 75 up for sale.
What is it? She is a 2001 Connoisseur SE CDTi Tourer with the Automatic gearbox. Pretty much every option is present apart from Powerfold Mirrors, however these could always be added if desired. Which options are present, and what other information do you have regarding the car? A quick run-down: - 135k on the clock, mostly motorway driving as mentioned by the previous owner. - 2.0L BMW M47R coupled with 5-speed Jatco automatic gearbox. All functions of both work fine as expected. - Kit fitted includes heated electrically adjustable memory seats, parking sensors, cruise control, HiLine with Nav and TV, FBH (I think this needs attention as it didn't fire up in the cold weather recently), rain-sensing wipers and the upgraded BM24 amplifier module (fitted by myself). The car also has an electric sunroof, with no leaks. - MOT until July, however no tax (unless you snap it up in the next few days) thanks to the daft 'continuous insurance enforcement' laws. Running costs I tend to average around 38-40MPG around town, and cruising at 70MPH the OBD indicates around 53MPG. Tax is £143 for 6 months, or £260 for 12 months. Insurance has been surprisingly cheap on this vehicle - much cheaper than my MG ZS diesel. I know the 75 has a lot of common faults - what needs attention on this vehicle? The car is in great condition mechanically - I've given my attention to faults needing rectification. The thermostat is working well - the 75/ZT CDTi suffers with thermostat issues caused by premature opening (leading to cool-running and poor MPG). This car doesn't suffer from this issue. The MAF sensor is connected and works well - plenty of pull from low down the RPM range right to the top end. Finally, the automatic gearbox is silky smooth and has no issues I am aware of. The only issues I am aware of are a bit of bubbling up on the rear number plate plinth - this would be hidden by a proper 'smiley' plate. The Sat Nav drive is unplugged - it was disconnected as part of tracing a power drain overnight. It did work when I bought the car, however didn't seem to power down properly causing drain on the battery overnight. The NS headlight occasionally flags up on the IPK as having a blown bulb, however this appears to be a loose connection as a quick tap to the lens resumes normal function. A spare headlight module is in the boot ready to fit. I'll get some better pictures, this is the one from the advert when I bought the car: You will not be disappointed, this is an excellent example of the 75. I am located in Southport, Merseyside. This is a private sale, and not in the course of my business.
