Default My new roof bars

Having recently seen a thread involving a saloon with some strange roof bars, I had a reasonable idea of where they came from so got creative.

See if you can guess where they are from, but I think my picture makes it a little more obvious

(I have fitted both, but camera ran out of charge... )

They look like rails from the back of a Ford Ranger or something similar.

Points go to tareim, they are actually shortened tourer roof bars and don't fit too bad. Took some pics so I might throw a how to together if I get chance.

Took them back off today though, made another set. Something a little more functional but by no means oem. New brackets and a bit of ally box. Works a treat!

Well to be honest I don't think I'll be using these, little small for what I need.
If I can get together a full set of fasteners your more than welcome to them.

Problem is I've used them for my other rack but I should be able to find suitable bolts somewhere.

I would be keen to see a guide for making them from the tourer to saloon. Might do the same to my saloon project!
