Tyre pressures for one, the CDTi was 32 all round, CDT was 32 and 30, the CDTi also gained some weight over the CDT.

There is only one definitive way to tell the difference, and that is by checking the ZCS coding using T4.

All ZT's were marketed as CDTi and were both 116 or 131 (114 or 135 if you wish to believe the marketing)

Similarly the 75 was badged as CDTi post 2002 but came in both states of tune.

Of course the CDTaye is 160

131 is more economical than 116, 160 more economical than both

I know this has been mentioned quite a few times before, but how can it be more economical? obviously this does not count if you are always forcing the loud pedal into the Axminster, it just seems counter intuitive (Ooh that sounds good

You have now. Mine is a CDTi and was 116bhp from the factory. Two months after it was purchased new, the owner took it to the dealer and had the upgrade to 131bhp done.

So, as far as power ratings go, the "i" stands for "irrelevant"
