Corin,
At the risk of moving this thread off topic, I've started it as a fresh one here:

To pursue this line of thought.

For Bartonrover: here you go again for the link

Or check this link:

Basically it's the same cars, but the latter, I downloaded it from Rover's website back in 1999

In this link

It was test cars for the French market. License plates with WW showing concern pre-regitration cars (i.e. before obataining their final registration number due to their owner) These were given by Rover at the time to the journalists for evaluation and testing. No idea on the cars whereabouts now, probably sold afterwards

Default s reg rover 75

I thought I would try to locate a s reg rover 75 via the internet to try to locate one. I have come up with zilch....It proves just how hard it is to track down one of these rare beasts. I wonder if they had a trial of the diesel version on the s plates.

I am awaiting john dot comms report on the one in wales and chassis number to see how early that one is. On his current description it sounds like a pewter grey one.

Maybe another area that could be covered would be the development of the ZT and the early models that created.

Please move this if you like to save this thread going off topic.

It must have been the test car of the time as Autocar and Car used the same car for their tests and it is still on the road, S750 LJK was a 2.5 V6, they just used the pictures from that car, the test 1.8 Club was S902 XDA

Yes, I thought that might be the case.

Default s reg rover 75

Youre not going to believe this I was on the M42 this morning and due to the traffic jam(stuck for 1 hour) I got off at junction 10 and went through kingsbury and coleshill to get to Birmingham.

On the way through Coleshill there was CREAM COLOURED ROVER 75 ON A "S" registration. The car was a left hooker and the grille badge was silver only in colour and not in the norrmal viking colour scheme.

The chassis number was 0000197. This car must have been a pre-launch. The interior was the full leather in blue. I never noticed if it was a auto or manual as I slammed on the brakes and backed up a little to get some info on the car I did not have a pen to write down the reg but this was part of it S*** DEH

Any one knows whos this is....?
