steering wheel options (and other trim bits)
Just wondering what are the different types of styles available for the steering wheel?
I quite like the look of 'black oak' , but what other styles are available? Carbon maybe? Are they just insert peice's on the wheel? Or the whole thing needs replacing? Also... Are there any style options for the window switch panels on the doors? Cheers!.

I think there are two types of window switch, but not much between them. I couldn't tell! You can get aftermarket wood effect fir them, though.
I would love a black oak wheel to match my interior, but they fetch stupid money. The wood is part of the wheel and you have to change the whole thing. |

Think carefully before spending a lot of money on a black oak steering wheel. I have one on my Contemporary SE and, despite fitting a home made cover to protect it from the sun when parked, it is still slowly fading to dark olive-green so it no longer matches the fascia.

Is it real wood? I used to stain and polish furniture at an antiques shop. Could it just be re stained? Or a new peice put in? . OR maybe the wood from a knackered wheel could be remove and replaced with a sections of real carbon fibre?
