I am looking for something like this for my MGF.
I have the official green factory workshop, but I am lacking detailed information about/for the VVC, (variable valve control) and how to check it.\\thanks

I bought an original XPart CD recently and copied it to hard drive. If I start RAVE using TData.exe I can get to the 710-page Workshop Manual in Acrobat Reader 4.0 and the bookmarks are all present, as per the pic below. If however I print this file (libr75_e.pdf) from Acrobat Reader 4.0 using the Foxit printer driver, I get a usable 701-page Foxit pdf but there are no bookmarks at all. The Thumbnails are all there but not the Bookmarks - that makes it very difficult to find anything. |

It's also an extracted version of RAVE. It has all the practical workshop content, but lacks anything from the extensive theoretical background. That forms a large part of the CD and IMO as valuable as the spannering stuff. I can't recommend the printed manual. I think Xpart (or whoever) did a second rate job and they probably realised it later, so released the CD for public consumption and 20% of the price. TC |
