Cool Rover 75 Connoisseur 1.8 Auto (2002) - BR Green Cambridgeshire.*** NOW SOLD

[SOLD]

As per thread title, a R75 Connoisseur 1.8 Auto.

Rover 75 Connoisseur 2002
British Racing Green
K-Series 1.8 NA
97,500 miles
MOT July 29th 2021

I bought this for my commute in January 2020 but the world has changed and I've also changed jobs. It was a little neglected when I got it so...

Serivce work done:

4x coil springs, 4x tyres, all brake pads, cambelt, water pump, thermostat, coilpacks, injectors, spark plugs, gearbox oil, engine oil, all filters, driver's door seal, front ARB drop-links (heard a clunking), touched up steering wheel leather dye (two bottles included in sale).

Rides and runs nicely as you would expect after that work, lovely cruiser and low effort in traffic. Nice cold AC and heater as warm as it'll get with this model. Very low emissions at MOT suggesting good engine health and good cat condition. It's a 1.8 auto so it's not fast of course, but it's comfortable and good enough in my opinion.

Modifications, all reversible/removable, just my taste:
  • Swapped to plain steel wheels with high profile tyres (comes with good condition alloys with normal profile tyres and good condition hubcaps for steels).
  • Swapped damaged mirrors for early bullet body-colour type.
  • OEM black mudguards (wash it less often!).
  • Experimental shortened estate roof bars (cut & shut).
  • K&N element in original airbox.
  • A good wash a possibly its first polish for years.
Bad Points:

MOT Advisories (30/07/2020) - Mild corrosion to underbody, brake pipes, rear discs. Tiny exhaust leak.
Bodywork hasn't been loved by previous owners, some carpark scars as visible in photos.

£998, offers invited for quick sale.
