I recently fitted not quite the same unit to a Mercedes clk .
It was £42 yes the deluxe edition. As it had sat nav and ability to install apps and WiFi. Recieving it it was well made cast alloy body. Using a 7 inch frame and a very simple modification to the bracket that came with the frame , It fitted . Simple wiring aswel . Manual a little pigeon English . Big question ? Is it any good Absolutely amazing Apps installed Amazon music. eBay. YouTube . Phone connection for hand's free . Plus lots more Sat nav perfect rear reverse camera installed. Radio brilliant The one I fitted has 100% touch screen to my wife's 2000 clk . When my 75 has its MOT later this month I am fitting one into that without a doubt. We leave the hot spot on our phones switched on and it automatically connects when you get into the car

My guess the electronics in these cheap units is probably the same as the units we buy that are designed to fit our cars. Because of where it is made most of this stuff is a lot cheaper to make than we would expect.
There was something on TV a few months ago about how much it cost to make an I phone, I forget the exact figure but it was less than $20 and how much are these? |

This is the eBay item for the system I think they have upped the price since a couple of weeks ago I paid £41 ! 133475677816 This is the eBay item for the mount. I just had to re drill the 2 mount plates so they fitted the screw holes in the unit I could kick myself for not doing tutorial for eBay. On the Mercedes I had to open up the dashboard so it would fit but if you see it then it looks like it's been there from new When I fit one into the 75 I will

Yes it was better a £41. I also fitted a reverse camera . You don't need one on the rover as it must be one of the easiest cars I have ever driven to park but the Mercedes is awful going backwards as you can't see a thing
