Just had my second jab today over here in France.--I had no reaction at all to the first jab and this second jab seems to be going the same.---I'll just have to wait I guess until tomorrow morning to see if I start to grow another head or something. All the tales of pain and swelling have rather concerned me and members of my family have said they became very tired and had to sleep for several hours during the day to get over it.---When I got home I felt really well and went out and mowed the lawn. Did some weeding.

Now 9 o'clock over here and still feel OK.----Like a post I put in another thread about general health, I never seem to get anything.--

There are much younger folk than myself who post in the forums social thread about bits a pieces going wrong with them and, horror of horrors, having bits cut out of them.------

Probably I'll pay for what I said when I get up Saturday.---

Sadly we will always have to live with this, its never going away and even if the vaccinated the hole planet there is still a chance of people getting it as has been proved this week with Sajid Javid with 2 jabs.

My guess in a couple of years it will be like Flu that we know can kill 15k people in the UK annually.

On the bright side once vaccinated hopefully it will be just like getting a bad cold or the flu and after a week off work hopefully it will be over for you.

The worlds economies can not afford for a big percentage of its workforce having a week or more sitting at home in case it might have it. As has been announced already from mid August with the double jab and being able to ignore track and trace, my guess this will be the policy going forward with the booster jabs and the people who choose not to be vaccinated will find there are unable to do some things.

It is very quiet in there, like a ghost town.

Even the mods rarely venture there, otherwise the thread would have been moved ... to an appropriate section on the site.

It was basically that I had a hacking cough, bad cost and headaches (this was before covid was talked about) and several other people responded with similar symptoms!

I think unanswered questions remain about this virus and no doubt more will come to light. I was suspicious early days when China seemed to be very fast out of the blocks in cracking the genetic code for the virus, I'm no longer convinced that China needed to crack it. Also sewage samples are routinely taken, tested and stored the world over. After the virus came to light some historical samples were tested for the virus and it was found. Found in samples which pre-dated by some margin the official line re the suspected date of the outbreak. It has now been revealed that the Wuhan lab was being funded by the yanks to undertake virus research of a type which the yanks themselves had banned in their own country. So if the truth ever outs I don't think that it will be because of China or the yanks, they are both in it way above their own necks.

Seen today in supermarket- a queue 6 people at each of two checkouts, no attempt of social distancing,3 person family "group" in front of me aged 20 to 30years, picking up, putting down, examining, putting down packaged food stuffs,no gloves but they were wearing moustache masks!!!. Dont think any Government regs.or advice will cope with this, do you? Excercising their freedom I suppose. Chris S.
