Default Breaking (ish) mk1 75cdti 2004

Now scrapped, although I have kept hold of some parts.

After being given the run around by an ebayer (big surprise) I’ve decided that I just need my 75 to go.
I’ve very limited mechanical experience, so if you want something that’s easy to remove, let me know.
I’ll give it two weeks before pulling things apart in case anyone wants the whole thing. It’s perfectly drivable, legal and a damn waste to scrap, but needs must.
It has all the toys, Neptune blue full leather interior, walnut dash, cruise, auto wipers heated mirrors, auto dimming interior mirror, electric and heated seats. Everything works except the drivers heating element.
Ecu remapped by big russ, egr blank (I also have the valve) decat, I also have the cat
All injectors tip top, inlet manifold pretty clean, under bonnet fuel pump about 5 months old from dmgrs, all legal tyres (more than legal), never used space saver, tool kit with polystyrene thing(?), Neptune mats, original head unit (if you’re into that kind of thing).

I’d prefer if someone wanted to keep this on the road, but we’ll see.
Scrap value is £294.00, so you could take what you like in your own time, then get £300 at the end of it.

FYI, I’ve had to use the interior light above the rear seats as my new one had a problem

Hi Eddie.
I am getting confused, is this car still up for sale as in the sale section, and on ebay, or are you now saying you intend to break it up for parts instead, or only if it does not sell in the next week or so? and that you want £300 for the car.

Morning arctic. I can weigh this in to the scrap man for just under £300 so unless someone wants to make an offer above this, I’ll start to sell off the bits, then scrap it for £300.

Eddie

Hi Eddie, is it MBB starlight silver?
if you decide to break up, I wonder if it’s possible or even practical to courier front and rear bumpers to NI?

Unfortunately if you’re after bodywork I won’t get away with scrapping for £300. Scrapcarcomparison.co.uk and nationalscrapcar.co.uk were the two site I used to get prices. Maybe a better plan would be to price up getting the car to you, then scrapping when you have what you need?

I used shiply.com to move a car from the south of England to me, and it was just over £200, so could be an option?
