Default 'Heat Shield' hanging down onto exhaust pipe

Something that I presume is a heat shield about half away along the exhaust is hanging down underneath the car, two of the three fixing points have pulled through and it is now sitting on the exhaust making a rattling noise at low revs.

Is this something that can be re-attached or does it need to go to a garage/exhaust centre and be replaced?

I would be tempted to get under there but do not have access to ramps.

I had the same problem and a helpful member removed it for me at a meet when it was first noticed.

Reattached using large washers either side of the torn holes. I reversed just the rear wheels up on a high kerb to create sufficient space to crawl underneath.

A very common problem now this.
In some cases washers larger than an inch will be required !
Say M6 x 30mm
