Also coming soon, "We come to you service."
Prices will be as quoted PLUS 45p per mile from my LL29 post code (for the round trip distance)
So for example if you live 100 miles away, the extra mileage cost will be 200 X 0.45 = £90.
This pricing structure is based on Fuel costs, wear & tear & "lost time" out of the workshop.

Kenlowe have been established for decades & work extremely well retaining the original ECU intelligence, if wired into the original control box.

Other advantages include:

* ECU controlled as the original Control Box is retained
* Longer life than OEM
* Less energy usage improving MPG
* Slightly quieter in operation
* No resistor to fail as it's a true 2 speed 2 field wound motor
* New impeller blades saving another £45 (if the OEM blades were damaged)
* more than 1 kg lighter in weight

Kenlowe verses Siemens

Jules 21st April 2009 12:09

Well summer's here and Cooling fans will need to be checked for all speeds functioning especially on Petrol models.
You may be lucky & only need a 100 Watt resistor.

See here for some DIY tests without using a T4 testbook;) http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=35567

Offer price of fitted Rover fans reduced to £399 until the end of June !

Kenlowe kits fitted for £299

Dragrad 16th June 2009 23:42

How "easy" are these replacements to fit?

And

Does it need a T4 session to tell the ECU of a change of fan?

Jules 16th June 2009 23:50

How good are you with spanners Andrew?:o
Takes me 5 hours with a few chocolate biscuits in between !

No T4 required.
ECU doesn't know there's a Kenlowe whirring around in front of it either:smilie_re:

Aha! An afternoons' work then. No problem with spanners, problem with the hands (RSI) - then I've got a mechanical friend who can substitute. :)

Fairly straight forward by the sound of it :D:D

GrahamP 17th June 2009 02:16

Local garage Cars of Swanwick only charged me 2 hours labour to fit the one you supplied Jules.
