Not a good idea trying to start with a flat battery ,
two ways however
-Electrical control issue (generally flooded ECU etc ...)
-fuel feeding
check
low pressure (listen for the two LP pumps )
lack of common rail High pressure (leaky injector i.e) confirmed by a sniff of easy start
