Default What does a space saver wheel weigh?

Hi!

Can anyone tell me what a space saver wheel weighs.

I need to know before I send mine to a fellow club member and courier needs the weight to give a quote.

Unfortunately I don't have suitable scales.

Most courer's basic services limit to 25kg. I can tell you that a normal alloy rim only weighs around 11kg and a complete wheel/tyre around 23 kgs

I have sent two rims lashed together as one parcel for around £8 within the weight/size limitations.

As a guess I'd say a space saver is approximately 1/2 the weight of a full sized wheel/tyre.

Bathroom scales will be near enough for a courier. Everyone has bathroom scales

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Many thanks but not everyone has bathroom scales, I used to have them but became paranoid when they showed weights I did not like.
