Mine don't work but then I have not got the adapter to make it so. Can always get one later?

I have a DAB radio in the ZT.
But the problem I have is the lack of digital radio stations down here in Newton Abbot. I scanned the other day and got nothing and ended up on FM instead. I suppose it depends on where you are.

I had this head unit fitted to my 75 tourer a few months ago. It was a pig to fit apparently (had it done by a good local installer, including the steering wheel controller conversion). I must be one of the only 75 owners with a head unit that can use Apple's car play . One thing it lets me do very easily is stream radio and other on-line content over the phone's 3G or 4G data connection, which provided you have a reasonably good data plan, is one way to add DAB radio channels. Works well anywhere there's a decent mobile signal (which I would guess is about the same coverage as a decent DAB signal). It only lets me use Apple's Maps navigation software though, which is quite frankly, hopeless! But it is completely hands-free via Siri voice control including shouting music selections at it and getting it to write and read text messages and make/take calls. The unit also works with selected Android phones. It was expensive but was the best option (for me).

Hi Ken, sorry is missed your post. The DAB won't work with the rear screen aerial. You would need a windscreen stuck on one or a roof mounted one for which a hole would need to be cut. I had a screen one and reception up here in the NE of Scotland was awful. I bought a powered roof mounted one and the reception is brilliant. Added bonus is I didn't have to cut a hole in the roof. The whole aerial sits nicely under the roof lining tucked up near the rear courtesy light. Very easy to do. |

Or possibly the aerial you're using? My screen one brought up absolutely nothing. The replacement powered one has loads and loads and loads! |

Maybe I should have a look and see if it's properly connected.

I meant the additional dab screen one was pants. Wasn't clear when I re read the post. You can't beat the powered ones and they're only a few quid more! |

I can only speak for the one I bought. Been going really well for a few months now. Bought from eBay, it's a universal one sells under the brand Celsus with product number AN3022DAB. Other members have fitted other ones and had good results. Have a search about for ideas. |
