![]() Hello,
I changed the callipers and discs on my rover 75 today for the 190 set up and all is well except I now have a brake fault light and also an ABS light. I replaced the pad wear sensor on the drivers side but can’t think what has happened. I’ve plugged into PScan and all four wheels are updating speed data so I don’t think it is a sensor as they seem to be working and the error code generated is J1979. Any advise appreciated. Regards |

![]() Thanks, just checked that and fluid level is fine.
Air in the system somehow? Another bleed? I’ve tried disconnecting the battery for a short while to reset anything but that didn’t work. Regards |

![]() Hello, I've just got the identical problem, although I can't check the things you've been checking, not being mechanical.
Yesterday it rained cats and dogs as I drove into the hills behind Perth. The roads were very wet and I needed to slowly negotiate pooling water. The next day I had a Brake Fault warning and an ABS warning at startup, so I guess my fault was connected to excess moisture somewhere. Maybe you have the same issue? Just a thought. ![]() Air in the system won’t throw up a light, check the wiring again in case something has been disturbed.
