Please add me in to this, I'm in the M20, 25, 26 triangle

Will be collecting a low mileage 2002 75 1.8 Club SE Saloon early July, as my weekend car.
I still have the original OEM roof bars from my last company car, a 2000 75 1.8 Club.

I will be changing it to as close to Connie spec as I can, as I simply couldn't find one anywhere, that had a sunroof.

Fabulous website, now like to meet up with others.

Mike

Hi there, can I be added to the ‘interested in South East events’ list?
I’m in Folkestone, Kent, I have a 52 Copperleaf red saloon 75 Connie diesel auto with Xpower 135.
I’m particularly interested of any meets that can provide the 160 remap...?
Cheers!

Question Possible meets?

Looking through the threads there doesn't seem to be any local meets arranged for the future. Are there any in the pipeline?

Having just acquired my first ZT it would be good to talk to experienced heads
face to face about the niggles on the car.

Thumbs up South East meet.

Hi, I also would be interested in any meetings in the South East area. Just have not had time to devote to "car interests" but hope to get more involved this year. Just had my 2001 Con. Se.'s engine sorted and am in the mood to travel and meet fellow members of the club.
Cheers Sonestarick.

Hi to Grizzlyman from Folkestone.
Good to have a fellow member in town and look forward to seeing you at any future meetings in our area. Always interested in talking Rover matters as gives me a chance to pick up knowledge and put a name to a face.
Cheers
Sonestarick.

Thank you for your interest Sonestarick, and good that Grizzlyman responded to you.

The South East used to have a meet along the Thanet Way, I believe at the Long Reach, when it was still a pub. This was before my time.

A few years ago I started to try and get the SE going again, and would like to think that we started to get somewhere.

A meeting was held in Maidstone, and at two other locations close to the M25. From memory Maidstone got 4 or 5 people, but was only held the once. We also had a meet at Dungeness, organised by Martin.

Probably the most popular venue is now in London's ULEZ zone, and has lost some of it's attraction.

I then became hospitalised, but now 18 months later, I am back on the road. Jan, my wife, and I have now visited two new venues, with a view to trying to restart again.

One of these is at the M26 / M20 junction, and is the better of the two.

If that is not too far for you, I suspect that 2 other members would join Jan & I, if I posted it as a SE meet. It would be Sunday Morning breakfast.

Failing that, I would willingly meet with you around the Maidstone area, and see what might develop.

Some members (including myself) do a 100 mile return trip to the London & South's venues in Frimley & Maidenhead.

Regards

Mike
