good news on the badge front, heard from the manufacturer today and there is no extra cost for choosing either of the colours shown in post 298 above so Eamonn can have the one that he thinks will suit his facelift more.

If we change the design at some point in the future that will inolve more tooling costs.

Now we have the answers I will pm those on the badge list over the next few days to sort out payment details and which colour you want, nothing to stop you having both colours if you wish

Before I purchase one, I'd like to see a badge actually fitted or at least offered up to the MG7 plinth. As you know I've had some design concerns which remain until I acually see the fit.

as i said before TC i will be sending a template made by Steve to get a perfect fit but we are all taking a bit of a punt for £20, if you want to see a badge fitted before ordering then you will have to drop out of the first run as i am unable to get a single badge made without paying the tooling costs, if you want to drop out thats fine just post or let me know for sure as it affects the share of the tooling costs for the rest of us.

I need to be sure of numbers before I pm members otherwise if people drop out at the pm stage then i will be left to pick up the extra tooling costs

Great news, Rob. I suggest all Paypal payments are sent as a "gift" to keep costs down.

I have e mailed the manufacturer to make sure the prices he quoted me include VAT, if not the cost will be 20% more, i will post up as soon as i get a reply and then pm those interested, worse case it will add about £4 each but his quoted prices may have been vat inclusive

The manufacturer has confirmed prices were vat exclusive so for the 12 of us on the list below, the cost for one badge each is now as follows:

12 badges £10 = £120
Tooling costs £110
Carriage £10
VAT £48
Total £288

divided by 12 thats £24 each, if you want to round up to £25 that will cover my costs of posting out the individual badges.

If you want more than one badge no problem just add another £11 foe each one ( £10 + vat )

I will now send pms to all on the list with my paypal details.

You can choose either badge from post 298 above
