Default Bluetooth

I have my DD fitted and I must admit that I absolutely love it.

I was wondering if anybody can give me an answer to this question.

I have two mobile phones, one is my work phone Nokia C3 and one is my personal phone Nokia X6

Both have bluetooth and it is enabled, I have managed to pair the C3 with the DD unit, but unable to pair the X6, the X6 sees the DD and asks for the code, this is put in and then the phone says "connection cannnot be made"

Am I only able to pair one phone to the unit?

Cheers

Ian

It might be that the bluetooth profile is not available on the X6, try deleting the paired phone and then try the other.

Having had to disconnect the battery a couple of times this past week, I notice the pairing does seem to survive that, despite radio channels being lost.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

What unit did you get Ian?
I'm interested in upgrading my SD to a decent DD at some point and like hearing of people that are content with their units. Do you have any pics?

Hello Steve,

Firstly I must say that I am more than content with my unit, and guys answering question on here have been a great help, not because I have had problems, just wanting to get a better understanding of the unit.

I have the unit without the TMC and was on special offer just before Christmas from Sean.

No pictures taken, but if you go into the DD forum there is a posting there from another member who has put up a pic of the unit in situ. Must say it looks like it has always supposed to be there.

I think when you read the threads it appears there have been lots of problems with the units, but I have not had any, and of course people only post up when they do have a problem

Ian
