I've got an idea . . . . type thing...!
Morning all...
If I've missed this somewhere in the deluge of posts on these lovable, albeit almost extinct little critters, I appologise now.... SORRY... there done... What where the original finishers made from?... Were they all the same size?.. Are they chrome plated?... And...... If they were to be made in very small quantities...would anyone notice...??? Not that I would do such a thing... If they are of a base metal or such, I may have an idea to make these cheaply....ish.. Dont all start sweating, its just an idea and may have been tried before As Arnie would say..."I,ll be back".....

you got it !!!
Friend of mine is/was a jeweller... many a time i helped in molding a piece of fancy gold/silver in jewellers rubber, make a wax copy, alter it... make a plaster mold and bobs your proverbial... was thinking of putting my signature on mine....if it worked..which is a long shot...and slow for the masses... but.... with the right contact in electro chrome plating, once you have a few the price isnt too bad.... like I say just an idea at mo,but working on it.....

Love to have them. I assume for a LHD it won't be any different? Thanks, Arjan
