I quite like it. I'm sure it will be ok. Pity there aren't many pics of the inside.

looks pretty good to me if they brought out a Hot version which i think is essential for such a car with its previous heritage, i fear it will be too little to late to help MG in the uk.

It just looks like another generic modern-day supermini.
Where's the individualism gone, like on the Z's?

MG3 NO Diesel or Auto
In "Autocar" Guy Jones tells us there's no Diesel or Automatic version's,cos they won't sell enough? So even less choice.

Sales of small petrols still outstrip diesels by some margin.

Not impressed but then I wasn't when the Chinese version appeared a couple of years ago.. but then again I won't be in the market for something so small. If I was i'd get a new Yaris |

Lets face it the chinese wanted the name for its prestige, but doesnt give a **** about the uk market given how the treat their appointed agents my logal dealer pulled out of the franchise when MG UK said no cars if you dont pay all up front before delivery !! and this in straitend times.
The care they could have sold in large numbers was the Roewe 750 which at least has the merit of looking like an updated Rover. The new MG's look like every other small to medium car on the market in fact debadge them and you will have hard time sorting out who was who So I will be sticking with my faithful R75 which is better than any of the chinese products by a very long way IMHO Mike |
