Playstation 3
Although my PS2 is still going strong, 9 years and 11 months after I got it for my 40th birthday, I am wondering about getting a PS3, so I can get some new games!
I wouldn't ditch the PS2 (would move it upstairs, so I could keep using my old games, as I don't want to have to re-invest in new Guitar Hero, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto etc etc and I gather newer PS3's are not bacward compatible?) Couple of things though:-
I'd like a driving/racing game that whilst not being too easy, is not too hard either. I've got Gran Turismo 3, but am nowhere near finishing it, in fact after 10 years I'm only 25% through it! (:shame-icon. I can win all the beginner stuff, and some of the amateur league, but as I haven't got the full licences yet, can't even have a go at the Pro league - not that I would be able to even keep up let alone win anyway!

PS2 controllers will not work on the PS3 |

If you can get a good early PS3 you will be able to play games from PS2 and One on it. We've got 3 refurbed 320mb PS3's which are linked for group play on the internet. Put it to good use in MAG and BF3. Its good when your off spring like taking things apart.

Forget the PS3 and get an Xbox 360. It's far and away the better console.

Now we could argue all day which console is better. But i'm not going to. Pesonaly i have been gameing since the day of relese of the Spectrum 48k. And have a huge collection of gameing item's. So many that i am now forced to sell a lot of my stuff no Ebay as i dont have the room anymore. So which is better well there both good at what they do. And they both have lot's of good game's. So i think that it's just a matter of preference if you want a PS3 well go get one but before you do take a look at what the 360 has to offer. It's just as good.. |
