Default Why the Seat Heater Element doesnt work

Hi, out of interest I took the leather drivers base seat trim off yesterday to reveal the foam squab. Curiously the one of the wires feeding the heater element had been severed, in my case the red wire. A simple job to reconnect the wire and I am sure the heater element would work just fine again.

As it happens I have fitted a different complete so wont be repairing the old one, however post this in case anyone wants to do a DIY repair. The new seat element works just fine which is good news and its a nice feature to have working even though the winter had pretty mich passed!

Cheers,

Rich.
