I'm still on my iPhone 3GS,had it about 18 months and an upgrade to the 4S is on the cards shortly.A fantastic bit of kit which is constantly good performance.

Hello Mr Brabus, may I suggest an HTC Desire HD? I only ever post using this device and it is really rather good. Battery life is reasonable for what it is; the only thing I don't like is that if an alarm has been set and you switch the device off, the alarm is de-activated...

Most androids are up there these days, Galaxy or as I use HTC Sensation (using it now). Of course iPhone and if you go with the 3 network it is truly unlimited data in your contract price so get downloading.

Seconded, I love my DHD. The extra screen size really does help.
I wouldn't choose an iphone unless you don't like to tinker, you can only do what Apple let you do on an iphone whereas the android option is more configurable and customisable.

My next phone is going to be the HTC one X, my contract's not up until the end of the year though
