Hi-line with analogue TV
Hi,
I know this has been discussed before can someone tell me what is the best way to get the tv to work with digital. A couple of questions Is it possible to do Can a novice do it Cost involved. Has anyone got a link or a how to Thanks

yes i have. right as repeated from yesterday.you need a dvbt meg4 box from radio guy x2 antennas from the same place.the meg 4 and two antennas give the best reception.you also need a lead from a company called toys in your car this gives you the feeds from your highline tv module for the dvbt box.you can use your antennas already fitted to your car but they need adaptors or the plugs changing to fit the dvbt box.and then spend three days searching on here to find out how to connect up or ask me who kept and filed all the info gathered

First thing to do is buy this lead from Toys In Your Car
Without it you won't be able to do anything. This enables you to use the AV channel on the head unit. While MPEG 2 units will work, personally i'd buy an MPEG 4 unit which has 2 aerial outputs and provides better reception. Some pics here which may help: My Flickr |

I have a question, how do you control the freeview tuner if it is tucked away in the boot? Changing channels and the like?

as above mine came with a very long lead which i ran under the roof lining the ir sensor pops out above the rear view mirror.then just use the remote
