Pride Of Longbridge # 8 (13/04/13) Attendance Register
The Pride Of Longbridge # 8
Saturday 13th April 2013
Low Hill lane
While at the NEC Classic Motor Show this year, the club was approached by John Baker the chairman of The Austin & Longbridge Federation and invited once again to attend the Pride Of Longbridge Rally opposite the MG Motors Factory in Birmingham.
For those that don't know, the event is now in its 8th year and commemorates the closure of MG Rover Group at the Longbridge site.
Just as last year, we will have an area for parking set aside for members to use and we'll be there to spread the word on all things 75 & ZT. We are also permitted this year to open the club shop for anyone wishing to buy club items.
To get a flavour of the epic scale of this event, here is a short video taken at last years POL with thanks to J1MBO
Last year we had in excess of 100 club cars turning up and we represented the 75 & ZT models well. The event is free, so why not come along and pay tribute to 100 years of car production at the 'Austin' factory.
To get an idea of the numbers coming this year, please post a reply in this thread and we will update the list for the organisers to keep track of.
List of attendees:
AldoR +1 TBC
Eljay55 + Shaz66
MrDoodles & MrsD
nertman & Mrs nertman
Trophy Yellow Mark
Windrush & Lillian
And hopefully the special appearance of Zed The Ted!
It's not essential, however if you'd like to print off a flyer with your club username and car details to display in your window at the meet, please feel free to click the link below. Just select the colour of your car and body type from the drop downs, the rest will be automatically pulled from your profile
We will have some blank name stickers available on the day for you to write your forum names on too, just come and find a club 'Green'
Please be aware this is not a 75 & ZT Owners Club originated event and as such is not covered by the Club’s own public liability insurance.
The Owners Club take no responsibility for the over all event in any way.
