Don't need an undertray eh?
My recently purchased tourer was missing it's undertray, so I bought one.
Massive reduction in road and wind noise, best bit about it was the improvement in fuel consumption! |

engine undertray
I agree it needs part of the tray as protection but the engine needs to get rid of heat because its based on an alloy aireo engine. so i modified mine and it works well and keeps the engine ventilation as needed

Surely the people who designed the car would've thought of that plus I'd say there's plenty of through airflow going around the engine and being sucked out the rear of the tray because of the Venturi affect as the air travels under the car and sucks it out of the engine bay

The fact that it was on the cars originally does not mean it's a good idea.
Think head gaskets.................. That wasn't planned I hope....... Think ECU in a box that can fill with water....... Think not one, not two, but THREE fuel pumps on the diesel engine..... Need I go on??? ????? ... |
