Remove your drivers switchpack from the armrest.

Are there any gaps in the connector?

If there are, then the wires are missing, if there are no gaps, then you just need the mirrors and the switchpack with the powerfold button.

Hi geoff,

you might be lucky had have the cables in place, to check you will need to remove door window switch to see if the wires are connected, cant remember the pin numbers but basically should should have a wire in each connector.

If not you will have to run a cable from the door switch to each mirror which is hard work but can be done.
Remember you need a power-fold window switch pack.

If you search for power-fold there's a few write up

I have designed a kit which will fold your power mirrors automaticly when you switch off the ignition. they will then open when you start the car. All ready done it on my car. Geoff and Andy saw it up in longbride. Kit comes already assembled all you need to do is tap into the fuse box and plug into your mirrors.

If anyone is interested let me know and i can work out a price for them as they do take quite a while to assemble.

Can you tell me this - if you "manually" fold the mirrors closed (by pressing the button) when the ignition is on, will then mirrors then fold "out" when you switch off ignition?

Cheers

The only way this would not happen would be if you did not fit the manual button (or you didn't press it!! )

Like I said - with no button - no problems. With the button, you need to be sure to not put the mirrors "out of synch" I presume with your kit you go direct to the mirrors then?

Cheers
