Default Sterling work...

Not a Rover 75, but a Rover 800 Sterling. Not a member of the 800 club but some are on here. Saw it this week at the back of a small garage in Ledbury.
P reg 1997, Sterling saloon, 2.5 V6 (Rover engine?) finished in silver with pale grey leather upholstery, very well kept, as new interior with sunroof. All electric seats etc work, air-con cold. Has a full service record from new (two previous owners I think) MOT until the end of May. Mileage? An amazing 35,000!
Asking price is £1695. Probably a bit high but it would be fully prepared for sale.
Call Ian Seabourne at Ledbury Trade sales on 07970 059 414
I have no connections with the garage or owner but it’s just sitting there and currently not advertised, if anyone was interested?

Manual or auto?

Yes, it's a KV6, they switched from the Honda 827 around 1995.

2016 Vauxhall Viva SL (Father Jack) "assisted manual" (auto) in purple. Going rusty underneath already...

A manual Sterling, they're pretty rare. Shame it's a KV6, head gaskets on those are almost a consumable item.

I think that £1695 is pretty steep pricing however good 800's are increasing in value.
