What do you think MK2
What do you think/I did this in 2006,,many years ago.
First the hazard/central locking buttons were always getting in the way being knocked on and off ! So moved them to the dash, after deducing I could put a cup holder there /more central lower centre of gravity less susceptibility to car pitch and yaw ,and not next to electrics if there was a spill.plus the standard cup holder gets in the way of your legs and more Lickly to spill on front console and all electrics. 2nd the webasto control panel was pretty much the same in the armrest cubby . It felt like a jigsaw when putting anything in it,in case it was activated inadvertently, and therefore reducing the capacity of the cubby by at least half. Thanks Paul. Would be simple to convert it so that the aircon cools the cup holder

Didn't have a pop can/paper cup handy hence the can of soup just to show the size, pop cans /bottles and McDonalds cup fit snug because of the cup taper.
