Original Post 1st October 2009:

He also now makes a double din to match the BMW E46 facia but a slight word of warning if you order one as part of your kit, there are slightly different sizes to these facias and the one he is currently selling is based on the measurements of mine, Paul ( Raistlin ) and Eamonn ( CDTi ) also have double dins and there is a slight difference. Currently the seller is making another for CDTi so he will have 2 options for this facia, maybe best to send him your measurements if you want/need a double din walnut facia.

As above i am delighted with mine, and will be at the national meet if anyone wants to take a look, but hopefully you can make your mind up from the pics below.

When fitting follow the instructions, use a hair dryer to warm it first not too much though, then when fitted go over again with hair dryer and smooth out with clean cloth.

Dont forget he also does a very good match to the light oak which some members have already bought from him.

Please note that i have absolutely no connection business or otherwise with the seller.

Old colour ATC facia - clearly shows the mismatch with the OEM walnut

old and new side by side

new colour fitted

old colour put back on

old and new drivers door switch

rear light walnut surround

door switches

horn surrounds ( revised since these to a smaller and better fit )

options include rear ashtray

or you can have the storage cover for this

That looks great, Rob.

His stuff looks much better than that from the Walnut Dash Company - and he is very easy to deal with.

I wonder if this guy could do a walnut trim to cover the centre cubby lid. There is a 3D element to the lid, though - probably very difficult or impossible to manufacture in some kind of a stick on trim.

The rear ashtray looks really neat with the alternative cutout. What's the story behind it? Are they available to buy as a straight replacement?

the powerfold switch is one of the options and there is one on its way to me, all i need now is the switch !

He also sent me the rear ashtray cover in error and there is a storage cover on its way to me too. Mines a facleift and has always had the storage box rather than the ashtray, presumably its a straight swop for the ashtray

I enquired about the cubby lid having seen the one on bay but seller says it will not stick to the material it is made from
