Default Bm54

As I understand it a BM54 is a decent upgrade over the standard rover highline headunit, can anyone tell me is this the one?

the bm54 back is a direct replacement for the original tuner but does not have all the functions(not sure exactly what it has or hasn`t got) of the later flat blade bm54!

It's certainly better than what you'll have fitted anyway!

What age is your car? I've read somewhere that the very last units had a bm24 - but after a year of researching it all, I've not come across a factory fit 54. Have you got the 16:9 Head unit in it?

I bought a bm54 back off ebay some time ago and that also has a Mg rover sticker,it has since lost a channel so have bought an upgraded bm54 back off a seller on ebay from southampton, and so far is working well.
