Rover 75 Tourer CDT - 2001 - Royal Blue - **SOLD**
Hi All,
I'm selling my CDT Tourer. I will update this thread with more information and pictures over the next couple of days. For now though... CDT 116 CLUB SE MANUAL TOURER IN ROYAL BLUE PEARL. Mileage - 212'000 MOT until March 20th 2012 3 months tax left (may have to sorn it though unless it sells very quick) Serviced within schedule by me for the last few years. Loads of receipts and history Recent new drive shafts. Plenty of miles left on the discs and pads Recent oil\filter service. Crown Alloys - Khumo Tyres - 2 newish, 2 moderate wear. Sunroof Ash Grey Electric Memory Leather Seats (drivers seat pretty worn) Air Intake Mod 2 Chrome Bullet Mirrors Trip Computer - screen pretty stripey but still readable. Reversing sensors Webasto Fuel Burning Heater Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror Rain Sensing Wipers (currently turned off as they annoy me) Harmony tape player Kenlowe Fan fitted are working perfectly There is nothing fundamentally wrong with this car, it has a wheel in each corner, drives well, cruises at 80mph very comfortably and has been used as my work horse, doing 60 miles a day, for the last few years. I have kept the EGR and PCV clear, and regularly check the plenums. There is no reason why it shouldn't keep passing the MOT, with basic maintenance, and keep going for another 200'000 miles. On top of all that it is pretty well loaded with features. It is far from a collectors piece however. Pretty much every panel has stone chips and various scratches. There are scrapes on both bumpers and a pretty bad scrape\indentation on passenger side door. That said, when it's clean, it sort of looks ok. The interior is similar. Carpets don't look too bad when cleaned. Drivers seat is nicely warn in. Plenty of marks scrapes on the door cards. Air conditioning stopped getting cold last summer and I haven't bothered sorting it out. Airbag light has been on for years Brake Wear light is always on because the idiot who did my brakes plugged it in but forgot to attach it. Message centre screen has been stripey since I bought it but is perfectly readable Exhaust rear box has a bit of putty patching up a small hole. Drivers side window switch pack is a bit dodgy and the wing mirrors don't always listen to it! There are probably a couple of other niggles that I've forgotten to mention but in the end I'm not asking much for it. It could keep going as a classy work horse for years with a bit of TLC. I need to get it off the drive and don't really have time to spend messing around sorting out the minor bits and bobs for the sake of adding a few hundred quid back onto the asking price. £425 - viewing recommended. We all know I'd get more for breaking it!

Description updated a little bit. Forgot how well loaded this car is. Just given it a bit of a vac and it really isn't that bad.
If the car goes for the asking price of £425 I will leave everything on it as mentioned above. If anybody want to make a lower offer I'm going to take the FBH and some other bits and bobs off it before it sells. I have just swapped the synergy and maf over to my new tourer and put the old maf back on. I'd forgotten what it was like to drive without a boost from Ron :-) Pictures to follow very shortly.

Due to the stupid new tax\insurance laws I am going to have to SORN this car unless somebody wants it very soon. If anybody is sat there wondering whether to go for it, I would recommend getting in touch soon as I'm going to have to weigh the tax in otherwise.

I forgot... this car also has the Kenlowe fan fitted. It was fitted by Keith many moons ago and I think is the example car used on his "how to" thread.

Had quite a few PMs about this car so would just like to clarify the payment\collection situation...
The car is taxed until the start of November 2011. New laws state that a taxed car must also be insured, even if not on the road. I transferred my insurance onto my new car last week so this car is not insured. That means I am already pushing my luck and need to SORN it within the next few days to avoid getting an automatic penalty ( i believe?) The price is £425 including the tax if it is bought, paid for and ownership is transferred in the next couple of days. If that doesn't happen I will SORN the vehicle and it will still be available for £425 should anybody want to buy it. There will be no discount for it not being taxed and the buyer will have to deal with the tax and insurance themselves. Please direct any complaints to DVLA c\o Swansea for this ridiculous situation! If the car doesn't sell immediately I can look at options for those people asking for delivery "down south" and the possibility of adding temporary insurance to the vehicle etc etc. Whatever happens, I want £425 for this car. Any costs incurred for delivery, tax, insurance or whatever will have to be covered by the buyer as an extra. Hope that makes sense, I'm just not selling it for enough money to make it worth the hassle of doing very complicated transfers! It is priced for a quick sale to somebody who can pop round with some cash and drive it away
