Thumbs up Cleaning your car

Hi All
Just to give you all a heads up to a company I have met through Detailing world,
It can be found here (Link removed as it connects to a banned user)

I have always been a devoted Halfords buyer for my car cleaning stuff, as I knew no better, I met Lee (the Director) at the last Nano meet and he sorted some products out for me to play about with, well today I have spent 4 hours cleaning my car with these products and I must say the quality of them is far superior to the Meguires I normally use, the stuff was really easy to use, went on easy and came off easier, the colour looks deeper than it ever has in the two years I have owned it (I would have taken photos but it went dark)
I did some of the car with a DA Polisher and some by hand and you cant tell the difference, all products are Manufactured by Lee and contain no harmful acids that a lot of products do in the Halfords range

I have no connection with the business apart from using the products they sell, please take a look at the site.....

Lyndon

Don't talk to me about halfords. I've been there today and spent just a few quid on cleaning products, and its the biggest pile of **** ive bought in my life (apart from a montego!).
Whats the best thing to remove tar from the paintwork........ please.

Looks interesting. Im into sealants these days, but at £39.99 their 2 step seems pricey. Its nearly twice what i pay for Wolfs Chemical Nano body wrap (which is awesome) and about the same as semi permanent coatings like G-Techniq C1 and CarPro C-Quartz, which are both pretty amazing.

How does it compare?

SOME of the halfords stuff is fine, but they do sell a lot of rubbish. Any of the coloured waxes are best avoided, dont use Turtle Wax, its rubbish, T-Cut is evil.. Autoglym is decent, Meguiars is ok, but is all so yesterday. Nanos are where its at!

I have only a few products now for the exterior. Wolfs chemicals Nano Body wrap and Nano bathe shampoo, Meguires Ultimate compound for removing swirls and light scratches, FK 1000P for anything the Wolfs isnt suitable for (wheels, hard black trim) and Meguiars Endurance for the tyres. Thats it.

Or white spirit on a cotton pad. Better than any of them and way cheaper!

They are basically the same thing. £2.50 for a litre in B&Q or £20 for 5litres from polished bliss.. Hmm..

Tardis upsets the nanos in my sealants more than white spirit. Ill admit white spirit is a bit more work to clean up, but a quick shampoo after and its fine.

Or £10 for 5l from the Rep

Ive not had any issues with Sealants or Waxes when i use Tardis , but thats maybe because i only use it when doing a "proper" clean not spot cleaning

I would be surprised if it didnt affect products as its very strong , but as you say potatoe / potato with white spirit
