Yes, its the vw one. And the reason for being much cheaper is that a lawsuit was won by vw over Bosch because of the high failure rate. Bosch have been made to supply the sensor part only at a reasonable price.
And my initial thoughts are that it may even be better than the 029 one, as what is happening to the maf to get out of spec, is deposits form on the heating element and I think over time make it run leaner. I think these deposits are coming through the air filter, and are exaserbated by a blocked pcv. So it may pay to change these regularly. So it may be that the 032 might last much longer than the 029, before it goes out of spec. Just some food for thought. Matt |
