Cheaper Aftermarket MAF

There are alot of aftermarket MAF sensors on the market considerable cheaper than the bosch.
so the burning question is are they any good?
Have members had experience?

replaced my MAF with pierburgh one and mafam from rover ron big improvement

I have emailed WCP and they have confirmed that the part they supply is genuine Bosch, but the part finishing 032, rather than 029. 029 is the maf originally supplied and the 032 runs about 4% richer(apparently) which seems negligable.
The 032 has been known to replace the BMW x5 mafs who also ran the 029 originally, with good results.
There is also one member at least that obtained this 032 part and his car runs fine with it.
Although more testing needs to be done on our car with this replacement, initial signs are good. But the advert is misleading, and I have told them so.
So you buy this maf sensor with some risk attached.
However I would say the risk attached with this maf is way smaller than a copy aftermarket one.

that's the VW Audi MAF then, I kind of guessed it was as that seems to be the only Bosch one that is available without the main body, opinion on USA BMW forums seems divided on whether it is OK or not. running 4% richer in diesel may well be a small performance bonus though....
