Default A nice sight near Stirling

I was in Bridge of Allan near Stirling on Saturday and saw this wee beauty





My dad used to have a grey one when I was but a waen. Ahhh the memories

I had a Super Snipe for a while, the one with the big rounded wings, looked a bit like an Armstrong Siddley. lovely old cars.. *sighs* ...

tried to copy paste an image from a google search.... failed innit.. lol..
...

Sunshine that's a rare sight The car is also a nice example,when you could recognize a car instantly by it's shape.Them were the days

I had a Sceptre it was the Hillman Hunter shape,walnut dash as well.

A farmer friend of mine owned two in his day, one the same colour as this, the other a blue metallic one. Prior to his first Sceptre he had a Sunbeam Rapier the first car I travelled (as passenger) at 100mph.

The first car I actually drove at 100mph was an E Type Jag on a test drive to check out radio interference !!
