I had a Super Snipe for a while, the one with the big rounded wings, looked a bit like an Armstrong Siddley. lovely old cars.. *sighs* ...

I had a Sceptre it was the Hillman Hunter shape,walnut dash as well.

A farmer friend of mine owned two in his day, one the same colour as this, the other a blue metallic one. Prior to his first Sceptre he had a Sunbeam Rapier the first car I travelled (as passenger) at 100mph.
The first car I actually drove at 100mph was an E Type Jag on a test drive to check out radio interference !! JYJ |
