Default rover751.8saloon-problems after replaced brake pipes

Just had MOT they rplaced brake pipes, next day hand brake light will not go off,car feels sluggish as if brakes are stuck on could this be related. my husband went to the garage but they put the handbrake on and off a few times and said it must be a electrical fault didnt even look at car.

no they were not but i,m going to go back in tomorrow just want to be sure it related and not just my bad luck. They replace the back springs 2 weeks ago and the next day the reverse lights stopped working, they said it was just the switch needing replace but getting annoyed now this time i feel it must be connected.

At a guess they have made a pigs ear of adjusting the rear shoes probably by not doing the rear properly and instead over doing the nut on the handle and at the same time dislodged the handbrake switch

Is it definitely the handbrake light and not the brake pad wear warning?

Reversing light switch screws in the gearbox unlikely any garage could interfere with that whilst changing rear springs

Depending on where you are take it to someone we can recommend

It is the "Handbrake & brake system light RED" then " check engine- yellow" light has came on tonight.
