Got my baby back today. God I've missed her (1 week and 3 days we've been apart). All OK - she runs better than ever. Garage guy said he has been working on Rover's for 15 years! I said it feels like you have been working on mine for 14 of em ha! Got to take it easy and keep below 2500 revs for first 500 miles or so and keep eye on coolant levels until all bedded in etc. This is difficult as she is purring and I only need to tickle the throttle and my baby wants to fly! She runs better than ever (feels like new) Garage has guaranteed all the work (parts and labour) for 12 months so I'm pretty confident touch wood (or plastic walnut dash heh:lol
I feel like I've just bought the car all over again!!! Very very happy. Will post some pics of my Golden Chariot as soon as the weather improves enough to show her off in all her glory.

Merry Xmas to all you guys and happy Rovering!!
