Default Scone Palace Perth

Whilst attending the recent T4 meet at Perth we stayed the weekend at The Camping & Caravan site at Scone Palace.

Making the "mistake" of relying on the sat nav post code we finished up in Scone Palace (rear entrance) instead of the site entrance which is further on adjacent to Perth Racecourse.

From the site you can actually see the race track just the other side of the main stand. It is a very good site to visit if you want to tour the Perth area.

Here is a photo of my caravan with the two 75's when we woke up on the Monday morning.

Fortunately all the snow had cleared by the time we left just after lunch.

That is VERY useful Jim - I've got two stays at that site booked - I'm using it as a stopover (2 nights) on my way to, and on my back (4 nights) from, Inverness in July. Thanks to you, I won't go in the wrong entrance now
Hopefully, there may be a bit more green grass around by first week of July

Just turn left immediately after the back entrance to Scone Palace which is about 1/2 a mile after main public entrance. Follow signs for Perth Racecourse then turn left after about 1/3 mile and finally turn right into site just before the racecourse itself.

Hope you enjoy your stay, BTW the wardens husband drives a Discovery V8 with LPG conversion and when he spotted my V8 reg he thought I was in a V8 so I had to come clean it's only a V6.
